Present Continuous

The present continuous tense, also known as the present progressive tense, is used to describe actions that are currently happening or ongoing. It can also express future arrangements.

Composition:
Affirmative: subject + am/is/are + verb + -ing
Negative: subject + am/is/are + not + verb + -ing
Interrogative: Am/Is/Are + subject + verb + -ing?


Examples:


Affirmation:

I am studying for my exam.
She is playing the piano.
They are watching a movie.
Cons:

I am not studying now.
He is not playing football.
We are not going to a party.
Inquiry:

Am I reading too much?
Is she playing the piano?
Are they watching a movie?
